"Summer in South Carolina has never allowed me to purchase any other Boston Scally hat---until this one came out! I love it, the synthetic feels like it's not even there. The vents are perfectly placed and actually breathe. The fit is incredible. I used a flexible tailor's tape to get a precise measurement according to the fit guide, and it fits perfectly! Couldn't be more thrilled; my wife and sons even like it! The color is more of a sage according to my wife, but it's great no matter what you call it. Worth the money. A great look and a great product. I'll be ordering a gray one soon!"

Worth a few extra dollars

"I've tried buying other brands trying to save a little money. I thought there wouldn't be much difference, but there is. You aren't saving money buying an unwearable hat. That all being said, I have already come to appreciate this Cool Air cap. Temperatures have been climbing and my noggin has stayed cool. I plan on adding to my Boston Scally Cap collection. My only problem is deciding which one."

great hat

"pretty slick hat for the warmer weather. i didn't normally wear newsboy/scally caps outside of the winter and fall but now can wear this year round in a variety of places too. this is my first purchase from boston scally. will definitely buy more. i typically wear brimmed hats but these shapes and designs are very unique so will be wearing them more. runs a smidge on the big side if you fall in that 23. 5 in range. i don't mind it though, better than if the M/L size was too tight."

"I own a lot of scally caps, so I know what I'm looking for — and this one has quickly become my favorite for warm weather. I ordered an XL and it fits perfectly true to size. The air holes make a real difference; it breathes well enough that I've been reaching for it now that the weather is warmer, without thinking twice. The look is sharp too. A few months in and I have no complaints. If you're on the fence, don't be."

"Nice material and color. The package arrived with the hat squished a bit and one side of the hat shows wrinkles on wearing and is not a smooth flowy look as the other side, perhaps because how it got crushed in the shipping"

Fit

"The caps I bought recently fit properly. But our Boston weather has been colder than normal and I have not had an opportunity to wear them outside. I have about 8-9 of the Boston Scally Co. caps and most of them fit pretty well. Last year I bought 3-4 summer weight caps that are, in my opinion, not very well made. The sections of the caps that are sewn together are uneven and I have a "peak" on the top of the cap that looks weird. These are the caps that do not have a "button". So I am very hesitant to make further purchases but that could change if I see something I am interested in."
